On 17 February the world premiere of 'Bintou Were, a Sahel Opera' took place.

On 17 February, the world premiere of ‘Bintou Were, a Sahel Opera’ will take place in Bamako, Mali on a specially built open-air theatre on the banks of the River Niger. Their Royal Highnesses Prince Friso, Princess Mabel, Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands will attend.

Le président du Mali et leurs Altesses Royales des Pays-Bas le prince Friso, la princesse Mabel, le prince Constantijn et la princesse Laurentien assisteront le samedi 17 février à Bamako au Mali à la première mondiale de Bintou Were, un Opéra du Sahel. Ce spectacle musical sera présenté dans un théâtre en plein air sur les rives du Niger.
