The journal Jahan-e Ketab offers a platform for cultural criticism in Iran. Besides discussing titles that have been written in Farsi, this ‘World of the Book’ also reviews publications from other parts of Asia and the rest of the world. The essays that are published in each edition play a leading part in the cultural debate and the development of cultural values in Iran.
