The Prince Claus Fund, Arab Fund for Arts and Culture, and Magnum Foundation and are happy to announce the selection of the newest group of grantees for the third cycle of the Arab Documentary Photography Program – ADPP.
Y’en a Marre received the 2015 Prince Claus Award on 2 June 2016 in Dakar from His Excellency Theo Peters, ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Senegal. The embassy organised a ceremony with speeches and performances from Y’en a Marre members.
The Prince Claus Fund’s Ticket Fund supports the cross-cultural exchange of artists and cultural practitioners. Please note that the Ticket Fund was open until 1 June 2016. The Ticket Fund will open again on 1 January 2017
Perhat Khaliq received the 2015 Prince Claus Award on 27 May 2016 in Beijing from His Excellency Ron Keller, ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to China and Mongolia. The embassy organised a ceremony with a special performence by Perhat Khaliq for the occasion.
In partnership with the European Fine Art Foundation (TEFAF Maastricht), the Prince Claus Fund's Cultural Emergency Response programme (CER) recently supported the immediate safeguarding of a virtual memoir of one of the most acclaimed photographers of Bangladesh, the late Mr Rashid Talukder. His collection embodies the photographic, journalistic, socio-cultural and historical values of the nation.
