Sculptor extraordinaire Ousmane Sow passed away on 1 December 2016 in Dakar. His impressive sculptures of the human figure were lauded around the world. Sow was a recipient of the Prince Claus Award in 2008 - we are proud to have known him. The Prince Claus Fund extends its sincere condolences to his family and friends.

The Prince Claus Fund is saddened by the news of the passing of Dileep Padgaonkar (1944-2016) distinguished journalist and editor of the Times of India. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Padgaonkar served on the Editorial Board of the Prince Claus Fund Library.
