The Prince Claus Fund is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of former Board Member Anil Ramdas. The Surinam-Dutch journalist passed away on his 54th birthday, Thursday 16 February 2012. Ramdas worked among others for the VPRO, de Groene Amsterdammer en NRC Handelsblad. His body of work as writer was awarded the Dutch E. du Perron price in 1997. Ramdas was a board member of the Prince Claus Fund from 1997 till 1999.
The Prince Claus Fund wishes his family and friends strength to deal with this loss.
