The 12th edition of this Argentinean festival brings together professionals in the field of video, dance and technology to debate, research and experience dance, choreography and other artistic works that focus on body-technology. The festival, that is supported by the Prince Claus Fund, includes multi-media shows, installations, performances, screenings and workshops. Furthermore, the publication ‘Terspichore in zeros and ones. Essays on Videodance’ is launched, a collection of academic texts from all over the world that reflect on the practices of videodance. Because of its audiovisual character, the festival attracts a wide and diverse audience. At the same time, the research-oriented part of the festival provides the opportunity for those interested to enlarge their knowledge about videodance through workshops, scholarships, master classes and residencies.
