The Fund receives an annual subsidy from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs of € 3,403,352. In addition, the Fund has been a beneficiary of the Dutch Postcode Lottery since 2001. It receives € 500,000 from the Lottery every year. In 2005 the Another € 160.313 was realised through co-financing of several projects.
The Five Star Hotels in Amsterdam sponsored the Awards ceremony in December 2006 providing hotel accommodation for the foreign guests, worth € 50.000. Interest amounted to an additional € 45.273. In total the budget for 2006 was € 4.159.843.
