Prince Claus Fund supports Nukta Art

Nukta Art is a biannual art publication primarily devoted to the visual arts in Pakistan - aiming to map the dynamic and diverse creative landscape of the country and its interface with other cultures. From unbiased and provocative debates to event happenings and reviews, insightful interviews
to exclusive news, Nukta Art is set to be the world's window to Pakistani art.

It is an important art document that provides the missing link between art practice and art perception in Pakistan. It is a joint endeavor of three writers and a designer who have been linked with the arts in Pakistan for some time. The publication places art at its core and offers an opportunity to art critics, art historians and artists to examine, debate and contextualize the many dimensions of this field. Related disciplines such as archaeology,
architecture, design, performing arts and film have been included in the discourse. Nukta Art draws its readers into a stimulating dialogue. This engagement is a modest step towards a positive change in the way
the arts are viewed, recognized and documented in Pakistan.
