The Centre Universitaire des Arts is launching its first edition of Festival Arts Azimut from January 25 till February 2nd

Odile Gakire Katese needs your help and advice on the following issues:
• CUA would like to put in place a photo book of the festival. She needs your suggestions concerning the editing and production of this book.
• CUA would also like to put in a place a Festival television, whereby each day the festival’s activities would be filmed and then sent out for the diffusion on the national television. For this they need to rent out 4 cameras and a mounting station, which are really expensive. Odile welcomes all your suggestions on this point.
• Odile would also welcome your suggestions concerning potential funders for the festival.

May 15th till May 30th the Ecole des Sables organised the First Meeting and Exchange between Choreographers and Musicians from Africa and the African Diaspora. 15 choreographers from both 'worlds' spent an incredibly rich and intense time together, discovering each others creative works, philosophies, approaches to dance and their roots.

2007 APAC competition funds

In 2007 APAC launched a new version of the Competition Fund, focusing on the Symphonic arrangement of the Orient Bolivian Folk Music. The Inter-American Bank will be presenting five awards each in the amount of 2000USD. In addition, APAC will record a CD by the Santa Cruz de la Sierra Young Symphonic Orchestra. The APAC Editorial Fund will provide the editing for better international promotion of this unknown music.
