Organisation
CER is a Prince Claus Fund program. The Board of the Prince Claus Fund set up the Cultural Emergency Response Steering Committee at CER’s inauguration in September 2003. The CER Steering Committee directs CER’s policy and organisation, and takes decisions on the implementation of its actions. In 2009 the Steering Committee will in collaboration with the Bureau propose a new member for the Steering Committee to the Board of the Prince Claus Fund.

- Ila Kasem, Director of Van de Bunt, Organisation and Management Consultants and Chairman of the Morocco Fund, Amsterdam
- Paul Meijs, consultant and former Director of CARE, Boskoop
- Maya Meijer, art historian specialised in contemporary art and architecture; Director Stichting Den Haag Sculptuur (Foundation for Sculpture in The Hague) and Director of the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam
Sjoerd Koopman, Coordinator Professional Activities with the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA), The Hague is listener at meetings of the Steering Group.
