Women living together in Africa

De Compagnie Kaset Nooma from Burkina Faso will tour various African countries with the stage performance ‘Lavage’ directed by Anne Marie Béré. This theatre performance is based on the everyday lives, experiences and the roles of women in Africa.

The actresses are from various African countries including Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Togo and the Ivory Coast. After the opening night in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) in 2004 this play will be performed in Togo, the Ivory Coast and Cameroon in 2005.

Artistic Productions

Innovative cultural activities and initiatives of individuals and organisations in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean are supported by the Prince Claus Fund. These creative processes lead to artistic productions in the realm of theatre, music, visual arts, architecture, audio-visual art and design.
