Global Award for Sustainable Architecture

The scientific Jury of the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture met February 6 2012 in Venice and agreed that a sustainable approach in architecture and urban renewal today has to adress profound values and theoretical knowledge, participative development and emergency interventions for a society in change and in danger and the study, design and serious application of true and humble artisanal know how – qualities that are represented in the work of the 2012 laureates Philippe Madec, TYIN, Anne Feenstra, Suriya Umpansirirat and Salma Samar Damluji.
