Closed Call: Prince Claus Fund Network Partnership

The Prince Claus Fund call for proposals for the Network Partnership Grant is now closed. The Call was open to cultural organisations operating in Latin America, the Caribbean and Eastern Europe (Only countries from the regions listed in the DAC List were eligible to apply for this grant). The Fund and its Partners work together from the conceptualisation of the partnership to the execution and implementation of its projects. It is a partnership which goes beyond financial support, and thrives on the creative ideas and dialogue generated between the Fund and its Partners.

What is the Network Partnership?

The Network Partnership Grants are provided exclusively to cultural organisations for a period of 3 years.

The Network Partnership builds on the Prince Claus Fund’s 20 years’ experience in providing long-term financial support for exceptional cultural organisations. Over the past 15 years the Fund has supported 29 such organisationsin Asia, Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean through its Network Partnerships. Currently, the Fund supports 11 cultural organisations through aNetwork Partnership Grants. With these organisations we have developed joint programming to create activities within the local context that address the issues related to social development.

The objective of the Network Partnership is to:

- set up a Global Network which supports local activities of these cultural organisations working on freedom of expression; and enables them to facilitate regular exchange, cooperation and knowledge sharing with other like-minded organisations from other parts of the world working on similar issues within the Network Partnership;

- enable sustainability (sustainable infrastructural capabilities) of these cultural organisations through financial support and through connecting them to a wider network of the Fund, thus optimizing their work, outreach and impact in the regions of operation;

- enable new local cultural initiatives that generate participation and empower local communities to express themselves.

The Network Partnership Grant has two main components: 1) the development of a three-year Network Partnership Proposal Plan of Activities and 2) partaking in the Prince Claus Fund Network Partnership Annual Meeting.

Deadline to send in Concept Note was: Wednesday, 5 July 2017 at 17:00h Amsterdam Time (CEST)
